Wanneer de lucht op Aarde giftig is geworden werd besloten om de elite
van de mensheid in te vriezen in ondergrondse bunkers om op die manier
het voortbestaan van de mensheid te vrijwaren. Cartwright en Bauer zijn
twee mannen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het onderhoud van zo'n bunker.
Elke zes maanden worden ze uit hun slaap gewekt om een shift van twee
uur te draaien. Maar een van hen draagt een duister geheim met zich mee
wat tot spanningen tussen beide mannen leidt.

Storyline

In the near future, breathable air is nonexistent. Virtually all of humanity
has disappeared and those chosen to reestablish society reside in a controlled
state of suspended animation. Two engineers (Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou)
tasked with guarding the last hope for mankind struggle to preserve their own
sanity and lives while administering to their vital task at hand.
